The Blessing Box is a small, weatherproof cabinet mounted outside our building, stocked with food and everyday essentials.  Free for anyone in our community to take from, any time, day or night. It's available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. 

Take what you need. Leave what you can. That's it. No questions asked, no forms to fill out, no proving you qualify. Anyone can take something if they need it, and anyone can leave something if they're able. It runs entirely on trust and community goodwill.

The box relies on all of us to keep it stocked. Helpful items include:

• Canned goods — soup, vegetables, beans, fruit, tuna/chicken, etc. (easy-open or pop-top cans are especially appreciated)
• Non-perishable foods — peanut butter, crackers, and similar shelf-stable items
• Toiletries & hygiene items — soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products

You can drop items directly in the box any time, or bring them with you on Sundays.

What Not to Donate
Blessing Boxes are for non-perishable food only. Please do not leave:

• Boxed food items — these are avoided because they can attract rodents. Stick to cans and sealed, non-perishable packaging instead.
• Clothing
• Homemade food
• Perishable or frozen items
• Anything left on the ground or outside the box

Items left outside the box get wet, become unsafe, and have to be thrown away. Thank you for helping us keep the box safe and usable for everyone.

The Blessing Box only works because people keep showing up for it — both by giving and by using it. Shelves can empty out fast, especially after a busy week or a larger community food distribution, so ongoing donations (even small ones) make a real difference. Every can, every travel-size toiletry, every tube of toothpaste helps someone else's day go a little better.
